¿Cuándo debo usar el formulario I-824?
Use el formulario I-824, solicitud de acción en una solicitud aprobada, para pedir la apobación de un duplicado, formulario I-797. El formulario I-824 se puede utilizar en diferentes circunstancias, pero las notificaciones de aprobación de duplicados son las más solicitadas. Este formulario no le servirá para solicitar el reemplazo de su permiso de trabajo o de la tarjeta verde.
¿Quién es elegible?
Si alguna vez se emitió una notificación de aprobación del USCIS (Servicios de Ciudadanía e Inmigración de los Estados Unidos) o de la Patrulla Fronteriza (CBP), entonces usted puede solicitar un duplicado de dicha notificación. Esto es útil si usted está solicitando un ajuste de estatus y no puede encontrar su notificación de aprobación original.
Una vez que usted tenga su notificación de aprobación, puede usarla para solicitar otros beneficios de inmigración.
